I love this concept! It's a great way to save some space in your condominium! With this system, you can turn a 22 square-meter studio unit into a roomful of rooms! When you don't need your bed, you can just fold it away to reveal your study desk. Then maybe you can have some hidden storage space in your bathroom. The possibilities are endless!



Your condominium in Metro Manila may be small, but a good thing about it is that it becomes a huge opportunity to be creative when it comes to space efficiency.

Condominiums --- Box-type, Boring and CROWDED.

Those were my usual first impressions of condo living.. at least they used to be. All that has changed when I read about Woodsville Mansions.

When I was still with Black Ink, a content provider for websites and mobile devices, we had this magazine called "Spaces". My first assignment was to write about Woodsville, which was then still named "Woodsville Viverde Mansions" (for some reason, Robinsons dropped the "Viverde" which I think is still cool). My boss gave me a brochure and other materials that I can read.

The whole time I was reading them, I was imagining myself there that it took me a while to start writing! I never did this with other developments I wrote about but why Woodsville?

Well for one, I love open areas. And Woodsville has lots of them! In fact, the development itself boasts of 70% open spaces to feature 7 landscaped gardens -- each of them has its own personality.

Anyway, my point is that I instantly fell in love with the idea of a development that has this much space. If you think about it, Robinsons would profit much more had they built more buildings instead of creating all these nature-themed gardens. But they didn't, and that's important.

Fast-forward to 2010, I became an Account Manager at Robinsons Land and believe it or not, one of our projects is Woodsville Mansions, the prospective home I fell in love with in the past.

Meeting clients' "wants"

It's a great thing that real estate companies now are finally stepping into our shoes and realizing that customers need something much more than an abode. Together with the changing lifestyle of Filipinos, developers have also revolutionized Condos, especially within Metro Manila where the only things you could see are vehicles, city lights, skyscrapers and fast-walking people. Office workers can now easily de-stress at their homes (condos) and be ready for the next day's challenges.

Why invest or live in a condominium

Home is where you make it, and this is very true for most Filipinos nowadays. Although most families have their have own houses already, some still choose to get a condominium unit for a variety of reasons. Whether it will be your permanent residence, or your second home or “home away from home”, it will provide you with benefits that only condominiums in Metro Manila can offer.

First off, there’s the advantage of ACCESSIBILITY. Of course, not to mention most condominiums in the Philippines nowadays  provide interesting amenities that can’t usually be found in single family residences, which includes swimming pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, green areas, picnic grounds, etc. With all these amenities, residents need not go very far  to enjoy their leisure time!

Another very important benefit especially for the busy young professionals is that condo units are ideal for those who want to enjoy low maintenance living. You don’t need to wait for the garbage truck to collect your garbage or sweep your grounds from falling leaves. All you need to do is a little cleaning and a little coordinating with condo’s admin office in case you need anything for your unit.

Investment-wise, condominiums in the Philippines are good investments because they will eventually appreciate. Most people not just buy condominium units in Metro Manila to live in them, but they also purchase condos because they know how profitable they will be if they rent or lease them out.
